If you're looking for a writer who is as environmentally friendly (and bio-degradable) as you are, you've come to the right place.
I can help you develop effective advertising campaigns for your environmental product, service or special concern. I've been writing stories since I was five, only now I can spell a bit better.
My literary journey has taken me into journalism, advertising copywriting, corporate communication, media and public relations, situation and sketch comedy for television, short films, screenplays, books for children and more recently a novel. PHEW. If you click on the various links under this SERVICES page you will be able to see and hear (I also do voice overs) samples of my work across the various branches of the literary tree. You will also get some background on my illustrious career as an advertising writer. But as you've probably gleaned already, my greatest love is writing comedy.
TRY PUTTING DOWN A BOOK THAT REALLY MAKES YOU LAUGH
It's hard to do isn't it? The fact is we all love to laugh and be entertained. Laughter is one of the best medicines known to mankind and if you don't believe me, try typing in LAUGHTER AS A CURE FOR ILLNESS into google and see what comes up.
I can think of no better way than to use entertainment as a way to educate, inform, sell and promote your environmentally friendly business. But I probably need to clarify what I am saying here before you get the wrong idea. I am not suggesting for a minute that your environmentally friendly product, service or special cause should be presented in some flippant kind of way where it does not receive the respect it deserves. Comedy (particularly satire) if used wisely can make some very hard hitting and serious points. Comedy is used widely across the field of media and communications, not just for its entertainment value, but because it is an excellent tool for keeping readers or audiences alert and interested in what is being communicated to them. They will be far more likely to remember important messages, if they haven't been driven out of the room to make a cup of tea because someone is screaming a message at them on the television or radio. And they will be less likely to turn the page if the ad has something in it that really captures their attention and comedy is very good at doing just that. Your audience is also far more likely to stay interested and alert to what you are saying if your corporate presentation is funny or entertaining in some way.
This isn't to say by the way that 'if it ain't going to be funny, I just ain't interested'. Obviously there are times when a serious approach is the best way to go.
