Here's this week's environmentally friendly tip:-

Mosquitoes hate Lavender

You could either put a few drops into the water of an aromatherapy burner or dot it around your ankles and any other exposed spots and you won't see those whining little biters for dust. Lavender is one of the few essential oils to be relatively free of contra-indications, but to be on the safe side, test a small drop on a litte bare skin first to be sure it won't cause you an allergic reaction. If you are concerned about skin allergies don't put it on bare skin but use your burner or put some drops onto a tissue which you keep near you. I have found this to be quite sufficient to keep them away.
