Just like we all have to breathe, eat food and drink water, I HAVE to write. I got my training as a feature writer on the Melbourne Age newspaper where I had my own column and by line.

I then spent twelve years in international agencies, dreaming up ideas to sell everything from airlines, computers and fast cars, to soap powders, baby wipes and things that doggies chew in the garden. The highlight of my advertising career was to receive a personal reference from the most famous man in advertising today, Sir Maurice Saatchi after a stint in his London agency, M&C Saatchi.
